As the final smoke settled beneath the towering machines of Ferropolis, Piotr Więcek stood at the centre of a championship transformed. The Polish driver defeated top qualifier Conor Shanahan in a spectacular Final to claim his second victory of 2026 and leave Germany with a 22-point lead at the top of the standings. Round 6 had everything Ferropolis promises: relentless daytime heat, changing grip, drifting beneath the lights and an international crowd growing louder with every championship twist. A title race that arrived in Germany under Paweł Korpuliński’s control now heads to Warsaw with four drivers still capable of becoming the 2026 Drift Masters champion.

Conor Shanahan delivered a near-perfect 98-point run under the lights of Ferropolis to top Qualifying in Germany, leading James Deane in an Irish one-two as all four of Paweł Korpuliński’s closest championship rivals filled the first four positions.

A second career victory for Pawel Korpulinski, a first Drift Masters Final and podium for Kevin Piskolty, and a huge playoff crash defined the tenth year of Drift Masters at Bikernieki.

Drift Masters arrived at Ahvenisto Race Circuit for the first time with a sold-out Finnish crowd, a brand-new layout and a championship fight already balanced on tiny margins. By Sunday evening, the new venue had delivered shock exits, major contact, home-soil heartbreak and one of the most unpredictable Final 4 line-ups of the season.
