Drift Masters and Red Bull agree major title deal for 2026 Mondello Event

Monday December 15th 2025: Red Bull and Drift Masters have joined forces in a landmark agreement to bring a renewed festival of drifting to Mondello Park next June. Red Bull Drift Masters will take place across June 13th and 14th, with Red Bull Drift Pursuit - the iconic amateur drift competition - opening the weekend in spectacular fashion. Partners since 2018, this deal marks a major step forward in Red Bull’s long-term commitment to drifting.  

The deal will see Red Bull Drift Pursuit make its Mondello Park debut next June, as the iconic amateur event moves up a gear to kickstart what promises to be the standout weekend of the Irish motorsport calendar.

Red Bull will give wings to amateur drifters, with Ireland’s top up-and-coming talent facing off in knockout battles of speed, precision and control. The top four qualifiers will advance straight into the Top 32 of Red Bull Drift Masters.

After taking over Cork’s Spike Island earlier this year, Red Bull Drift Pursuit enters an exciting new chapter in 2026, bringing its unmistakable energy and atmosphere to Ireland’s premier racetrack. 

For many, it represents a dream opportunity to compete alongside the world’s best, such as Ireland’s own Conor Shanahan. The Red Bull athlete and reigning Drift Masters Champion will be aiming to strengthen his title defence at Mondello with a win on home soil.

Red Bull Drift Pursuit is an amateur 1v1 drift battle competition, which tests competitors on speed, precision and control. The event will take place this year on Saturday June 13th in Mondello Park, opening the curtain on the Red Bull Drift Masters Ireland weekend. This is the competition’s third year, having made its debut at Limerick Greyhound Stadium in 2024, before taking over Cork’s Spike Island in July 2025.
