Polish driver Piotr Wiecek dominated day 1 here at Round 5 of the Drift Masters 2024 season at Rabocsiring in Hungary, topping both the main qualifying session with a score of 97.5 and winning the all-Polish Qualifying Showdown final against Jakub Przygonski. With the top three championship contenders sitting antagonisingly close at the top of the table, the stage is set for a thrilling conclusion as drivers prepare for the Top 32 battles tomorrow.

Returning to Drift Masters action this weekend as a wildcard on his home soil, Irish driver James Deane has kicked off his Round 2 weekend with a perfect start, taking top spot in both the Qualifying session and Qualifying Showdown today here in Mondello Park.
