As the final smoke settled beneath the towering machines of Ferropolis, Piotr Więcek stood at the centre of a championship transformed. The Polish driver defeated top qualifier Conor Shanahan in a spectacular Final to claim his second victory of 2026 and leave Germany with a 22-point lead at the top of the standings. Round 6 had everything Ferropolis promises: relentless daytime heat, changing grip, drifting beneath the lights and an international crowd growing louder with every championship twist. A title race that arrived in Germany under Paweł Korpuliński’s control now heads to Warsaw with four drivers still capable of becoming the 2026 Drift Masters champion.

Conor Shanahan delivered a near-perfect 98-point run under the lights of Ferropolis to top Qualifying in Germany, leading James Deane in an Irish one-two as all four of Paweł Korpuliński’s closest championship rivals filled the first four positions.

Round 2 of the 2026 Drift Masters season brought the championship back to Circuito De Madrid Jarama - RACE for its second visit to Spain, and once again, the high-speed Madrid circuit delivered a day defined by mechanical heartbreak, razor-thin battles, and a redemption story one year in the making. After being ruled out of last year’s Spanish main event following a heavy crash in the Qualifying Showdown, Piotr Więcek returned to Jarama with unfinished business. This time, he left with the top step of the podium, completing one of the standout stories of the season so far.

The only 96-point run of the session, an Irish P2 and P3, and a 0.20-point fight for the final Top 32 place defined Qualifying at Biķernieki.

A new country, a new circuit, and a season opener that delivered from the very first battle. Drift Masters arrived in Italy for the first time at Autodromo Vallelunga, and with huge moments, early exits, and constant pressure throughout the field, it was reigning champion Conor Shanahan who rose above the chaos to take victory in Round 1 of the 2026 season.
